Effects of combined external (0.5; 1.0 Gy) and internal (137Ñs; 1.85 ÌBq/kg) irradiation on peripheral blood haematological indices in dynamics (1, 7, 14, 28 days after radionuclide injection) were studied. Combined irradiation causes more expressed changes of haematological indices in comparison with separate effects of external and internal exposure. Internal irradiation plays a dominant role in the range of small and medium doses and causes suppression of hemopoietic process restoration. Preliminary external irradiation at the dose of 0.5 Gy modifies (accelerates) 137Ñs elimination, decreases radiation load on the organism.
Key words: rats-males, ionizing radiation, irradiation, peripheral blood.
