N-stearoylethanolamine (NSE) can inhibit lipid peroxidation. Preliminary injection of NSE prevents increase of TBA-active plasma products in total single irradiated rats at the dose of 6.0 Gy, and initiates increase of effectiveness of antioxidant protection.
