Based on the echo-dopplercardiography investigation in 160 clean-up workers after Chîrnobyl disaster with stable angina statistically significant changes of global and local myocardial contractility were discovered. These changes were more significant at very high overall risk. The regular combination therapy helped to stabilize global and local myocardial contractility parameters. Left ventricle ejection fraction was increased in 59.2% to 4.5% (p <0.05) as well as diastolic function was improved in 21.6%. Expressed singes of ischemic left ventricular dysfunction in clean-up workers after Chîrnobyl disaster are circumstances of heart failure development. Îbtained data substantiate the expediency of the prolonged using of combination therapy for rehabilitation and prevention of contractility and relaxation of the heart left ventricle changes.
Key words: stable angina, clean-up workers, Chîrnobyl disaster, echo-dopplercardiography, systolic and diastolic dysfunction.
