Investigations of the structure of tooth hard tissues in persons subjected to the influence of high doses of ionizing radiation by the method of Raman established changes of mineral structure of hydroxyapatite crystals, collagen spirals of organic substance of tooth dentin and cementum. Intercrystaline spaces of tooth structures were filled up by the connective tissue. Hypothesis has been introduced that in the base of the three-dimensional enamel structure protein-calcium-protein is the protein osteonektin.
Key words: ionizing radiation, hard tooth structures, Raman spectroscopy, osteonektin.
