N-stearoylethanolamine prevents changes in activities of major antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase) in rat plasma under the influence of ionizing radiation at a dose of 2 Gy leading to inhibition of lipid peroxidation in irradiated rats.
