The elevated chromosome aberrations frequency in blood lymphocytes of Chîrnobyl accident clean-up workers exposed to ionizing radiation in doses 0.27–0.69 Gy in 19 years following exposure formed due to translocations that were stored in the generation of irradiated target cells, and chromatid breaks induced by bystander-type effect in the untreated bystander cells had been established.
Êåy words: Chîrnobyl accident clean-up workers, chromosome aberrations, radioinduced bystander-type effect.
