Effects of natural mineral waters of Luchinetsk deposit on structure of peripheral blood of radiation-exposed animals were studied. It was found that prolonged consumption of mineral water by the irradiated animals increases hemoglobin content in peripheral blood red cells of, and also facilitates elimination of non-typical cells from the organism, that reduces the risk of development of remote stochastic effects of irradiation.

Key words: ionizing radiation, mineral water, hematological indices, radiomodification.
